Introduction
Welcome! JustFix (“Justfix” or the “Company”) is a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to assist tenants in exercising their rights to a livable home. We value the trust you have placed in us and our mission. Justfix is committed to protecting your privacy through our compliance with this privacy policy (the “Policy”) and all relevant laws and regulations that govern the Company.
This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website Justfix.org (our “Website”). This Policy additionally governs any other affiliated products or websites such as WhoOwnsWhat, Letter of Complaint, Los Angeles Tenant Action Center, and any currently existing or future tool created or governed by the Company (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information when you visit our Website and/or use our Services. Further, this Policy discloses your rights and ways of contacting the Company to exercise those rights.

Information may be collected automatically including usage details, IP addresses, and cookies which helps the Company to manage your session with our Website.

Any information collected will be retained in accordance with applicable laws. After a period of inactivity, a User may receive an email regarding potential deactivation of a User’s account. The user must affirmatively email the Company in order to ensure retention of their account. Otherwise, their account will be deactivated.

Further, you may contact us at this same email address to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Privacy of Children
The Website and affiliated Services are not intended for users under the age of 13 without parental guidance and active supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, do not use or provide any personal information on this Website or affiliated Services. If you suspect an individual under the age of 13 is accessing our Website or Services please contact us at support@justfix.org. If any information from a user under the age of 13 is collected due to their use of the website and the Company is made aware of such an incident, then any collected information will be promptly deleted.

The California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Acts (“CPRA”), (collectively, as amended, “CCPA”), provide California residents with specific rights in relation to their personal information.
